No. Inventory is built on the same products, SKUs and warehouses the rest of the platform uses, so there is no second master to reconcile.
Planning derives demand from measured consumption and lead time from purchase orders actually received, then suggests safety stock, reorder point and order-up-to level. A value you set always wins; an override is never silently recomputed away.
