Inviting and activating users

Overview

People are managed in Settings → User Management: the People & access page. Only organization admins can invite. Every user starts as an invitation: there is no self-serve signup, and with SSO there is no just-in-time provisioning either.

Sending an invitation

On the Users tab, click Invite User. The dialog asks for:

• First name (required), last name and phone (optional).
• Email: where the invitation is sent, and the address SSO will match against.
• Access: pick any reusable roles and/or tick direct permissions in the matrix, or make them an org admin. See Roles and permissions.

Click Send Invitation. The invitee gets an email link, sets their name and password, and verifies a one-time code, after that they appear as an active user with exactly the access you chose.

Managing pending invitations

Rows with an Invited status carry three actions:

• Resend invite: sends a fresh link (the old one stops working).
• Correct the email address: re-issues the invitation to a fixed address while keeping the access you configured. Use this for typos instead of starting over.
• Cancel invitation: withdraws it.
