Meet MAYA
Overview
MAYA is the assistant built into every page. Ask in plain language — "how many RMAs are overdue?", "show me RMA-1042", "which cost centres are nearly spent?" — and MAYA answers from your workspace's live data, not from a script.
What MAYA can answer
MAYA works through the same permission-checked services as the pages you use: returns, purchasing, inventory, vendors, budgets, and the product documentation itself. It sees only what you are allowed to see — a user without budget:read gets no budget answers from MAYA either. "How do I…" questions are answered from the built-in help, with the steps inline.
Actions — with your approval
MAYA can also do things — but never silently. When you ask for a change, MAYA lays out exactly what it's about to do and waits for your Approve in the chat. Approved actions run under your identity and land in the audit trail like any other change. Decline and nothing happens.
Boundaries
MAYA is scoped to your workspace: it holds no memory of other organisations' data and can't reach outside your tenant. Conversations aren't used to train anything outside your workspace — the learning story is covered honestly in How Arthiva learns.
