Low stock and reorder alerts

← All documentation

Overview

Each SKU can carry reorder settings — the level below which stock is considered low. The Low Stock Reorder agent watches balances against those levels and raises an alert when a SKU crosses its line, so replenishment starts from a signal, not from someone noticing an empty shelf.

Where alerts show up

Alerts appear in the AI → Activity feed with the balance and threshold that triggered them, and can be routed to email or Slack through your notification rules. Like every agent insight, each alert says exactly why it fired.

Acting on one

The natural next step is a requisition for the flagged SKU — the alert gives you the SKU, the location, and the shortfall, and Draft from demand on the Requisitions page starts one from current demand signals. Tuning the reorder level itself is a catalogue decision: set it where your real lead times and burn rate say it belongs, and revisit it when either changes.
